FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: De Leon Cemetery in De Leon, Texas. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Monday night from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at Blue Moon Cafe following the funeral services. Dale Nowlin, age 80, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on March 10, 1934, in De Leon, Texas to Virgil and Bonnie (Frank) Nowlin. On June 26, 1954, he was united in marriage to Jane Raynell Easley in De Leon. Dale worked for Gandy’s Milk Company for many years and served as Fire Marshall for 27 years and 3 months for the City of Comanche. He was a member of Comanche Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Comanche County Law Enforcement Association. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Comanche and for several years he taught Sunday school at Dillon’s Children’s Home in Comanche. Dale was a member of Hope Masonic Lodge #481 in Comanche and Armstrong Masonic Lodge #445 in De Leon. He was also a member of the J.C’s in Comanche. Dale was a 32 nd degree member of the Scottish Rite. He is survived by his wife, Jane Nowlin of Comanche; son, Dennis Nowlin of Fort Worth; brother, Dean Nowlin and wife Marie of De Leon; sister-in-law, Maxine Nowlin of De Leon; sister-in-law, Martha Beaty and husband John of De Leon; Brother-in-law, Ray Easley and wife Barbara of Patterson, Louisiana; and brother-in-law, Edmer Easley and wife Louise of Ponca City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Gale Nowlin, and brothers Glen Nowlin, and Frank (Sonny Boy) Nowlin; and one sister, Madge Golden.
