BURIAL: Oakwood Cemetery VISITATION: Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 10, 2017, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at noon on Tuesday, July 11, at New Life Pentecostal Church. Emeteria Sabedra, age 81, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on April 3, 1936, in Staple, Texas, to Augustine and Maricela Alvarez. On June 13, 1953, she was united in marriage to Jesse Sabedra., in Seguin, Texas. Emeteria was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She is survived by one son, Pete Sabedra and wife Maria; two daughter-in-laws, Rena Sabedra and Martha Sabedra; three daughters, Virginia Valdivia and husband Lydio, Rosa Garcia and husband Arthur Garcia, and Sylvia DeLeon and husband Armando; 28 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Sabedra; two sons, Jesse Sabedra Jr. and Augustine Sabedra; two grandchildren, Mary Ellen Gutierrez and Andy Sabedra; and her parents, Augustine and Maricela Alvarez.
