GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Pendergrass Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, November 30. Frances Winningham Hoover, age 87, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017, in White Settlement, Texas. She was born on July 5, 1930, in Prairie View, New Mexico, to Ollie Robinson Coggin and Eva Inez (Winningham) Coggin. On February 5, 1951 she was united in marriage to Jack Wilson Winningham. He preceded her in death. On November 11, 1986, she married Herbert Clark Hoover, who also preceded her in death. Frances was devoted to her family. She worked hard and for many years was Food Service Supervisor at Western Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Sidney and West Side Full Gospel Church in White Settlement. She leaves behind two children, Speight Jack Parks of Fort Worth, and Janet Kay Huff and husband Richard Dale of Fort Worth; grandchildren, M’Chelle Huff of Fort Worth and boyfriend Bradley Beilue of Dallas, and Jason Huff and wife Heidi of Keller; great-grandchildren, Dustin Drysdale of Fort Worth and Alanna Drummond of Keller; grandson-by-choice, J.D. Sifford and wife Cristal and their daughter Treasure of Decatur; sisters, Shirley Borges of North Carolina and Lora Lee Ayers of Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie R. and Eva I. Coggin; infant son, James Paul Winningham; infant granddaughter Heather Dawn Huff; sisters, Vera Weldy and Pearline May; and brother, Munroe Coggin.
