Franklin Ross Bell, age 81, passed away December 13, 2012 at Tennova Residential Hospice in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was born on October 12, 1931, in Mill Spring, North Carolina, to Dr. Edward Moses and Katherine (Ross) Bell. Franklin was a retired superintendent at Towe Iron Works and was a member of AWS. One of his hobbies was genealogy and he was a charter member of Clan Bell/Bell Family Association. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ina Bell of Knoxville, Tennessee, daughters Linda Chappell, Teresa Crawford and Husband Greg, Julie Spencer and Husband Mike, and Grandchildren Tony and Sam Crawford and Erin Henderlight-Grimes. He was preceded in death by his parents Dr. Edward Moses and Kate Bell and Siblings Rob, James, Ed, Kathleen, Bill and Joe. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Comanche County, with Rev. Steven Schulte officiating.
