Grace Palmer

Grace Ashford Palmer, age 97, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Western Hills Health Care Residence in Comanche County, Texas. She was born on October 25, 1914 in Omaha, Nebraska to Frank and Rosa Montgomery. On December 12, 1929 she was united in marriage to James Leroy Ashford who preceded her in death on June 25, 1992. On March 6, 1993 she was united in marriage to Irving A. Palmer who preceded her in death on December 9, 2001. She is survived by: daughters Martha Fox, Comanche Texas and Rosa Terrell, Comanche, Texas, son Richard Ashford of Comanche, Texas, daughter in law Peggy Ashford of Burleson, Texas, 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 22 great-great grandchildren, 1 great-great- great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM. Lunch for the family will be Monday March 12 at 12 noon at New Life Pentecostal Church in Comanche. Funeral Services will be at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM on Monday, March 12, 2012 with Rev. John Boone and Rev. Greg Hardin officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Comanche, Texas. Comanche Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements. If desired, memorials may be made to New Life Pentecostal Church, P.O.
