Gwendolyn "Gwen" Evans Greenlee - age 86, formally of Comanche passed away in McKinney, TX, Monday, May 23, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born June 4, 1929, in Comanche, TX, to Hardy S. and Ruth Ray Estill Evans. She was a graduate of Comanche High School in 1946. She married her sweetheart, William D. Greenlee "Don", on August 28, 1946. Together their adventures took them all over the world. They lived in Texas, New Mexico, Norway, and Alaska. Gwendolyn was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed genealogy, traveling, reading, being with family, eating desserts and she never met a person she couldn't have a conversation with. She is survived by her husband Don, her daughter Carol Derscheid, her grandson and granddaughter Jay and Rebecca Derscheid, her great grandsons Jakob and Jackson Derscheid, and her sister Lou Evans Westfall. She is preceded in death by her son William D Greenlee Jr. "Bill".
