FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 13, 2015, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. VISITATION: 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Hazel Faye Connally Davis, age 86, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on December 20, 1928, in Comanche County, Texas, to Charlie and Myrtle (Knight) Connally. On August 1, 1947, she was united in marriage to James Wade Davis in Comanche. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2010. Hazel was devoted to her family. She was a homemaker, member of Comanche Extension Homemakers in Comanche as well as a Girl Scout Leader, and for several years she delivered Meals on Wheels. She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Henry of Comanche and Denise Hidrogo and husband Andy of San Antonio; one son, Michael Davis and wife Shondra of Comanche; five grandchildren: Brandi Hay and husband Clay of Leander, Jason Elliott and wife Brittany of San Angelo, Mariah Brown of San Antonio; Madison Davis of Comanche, and Mary Kate Brown of San Antonio; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Tommy Connally and wife Fluerette of Comanche; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Myrtle Connally; sisters, Ruth Buckler and Joyce Johnson; brother, Charles Paul Connally; and sons-in-law, Rick Henry and Jim Brown.
