GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10.00 A.M. Saturday at Oakwood Cemtery in Comanche. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. LUNCH: East Side Baptist Church following the funeral service. MEMORIALS: If desired, family requests memorials be made to East Side Baptist Church Kitchen Fund, 207 FM 3381, Comanche, Texas 76442; or American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15186, Austin, Texas 78761. Hazel M. White was born on February 13, 1914, in Mercer Gap, Texas to Charles M. McKinzie and Oma (Couch) McKinzie. She passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Comanche County Medical Center, at the age of 96 years, 1 month and 4 days. On May 31, 1933, Hazel was united in marriage to Everett White in Marietta, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 31, 1970. She worked for Texas Power and Light as a bookkeeper until 1983, when she retired after 35 years of services. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church, and a member of Comanche Book Club. She is survived by nephew and niece, Mac and Pam Pyburn of Sidney; niece and nephew, Sherry and Jimmy Wilson of Midland; and numerous great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Floy Olen McKenzie Pyburn and Nitzie Jan McKinzie Dorman.
