Helga Stephenson

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Sardis Cemetery in Comanche County. Helga Stephenson, age 77, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014, in Comanche County, Texas. She was born on June 3, 1937, in Mannheim, Germany, to Wilhelm Botzenhardt and Gertrude (Meckle) Botzenhardt. On March 10, 1955, she was united in marriage to James Stephenson in Germany. For many years she was employed by Lubbock State School. She is survived by her husband, James Stephenson of Comanche; daughter, Barbara Speer and husband Steve of Dallas; son, Ron Stephenson of Comanche; two grandchildren: Daniel Speer and Matt Speer; two sisters, Ursula Heimhold of Germany, and Elsa Hildebrand of Germany; and one brother Dieter Botzenhardt of Germany.
