FUNERAL SERVICES: Wednesday, February 24 at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Oakwood cemetery in Comanche. VISITATION: Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. LUNCH: Pearl Street Church of Christ following the funeral Services. Hettie Christeen Stockton was born on December 17, 1921, in Travis, Texas, to Armsteard David Taylor and Ida Bell (Moffett) Taylor. On January 20, 1940 she was united in marriage to Commodore Stockton. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1994. Christeen was a homemaker and was a member of Pearl Street Church of Christ in Comanche. She is survived by son, Richard Wayne Stockton of Lubbock; daughters, Doris Stockton of Comanche and Hettie Owen of Lubbock; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruby Lee Minter of Palestine. She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas David Stockton.
