FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 12, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Imogene Gleaton was born on July 15, 1917 in Gustine, to Wade Hampton Porter and Alma (Davis) Porter. On July 16, 1938 she was united in marriage to Nabers Gleaton in Coleman. He preceded her in death on September 4, 1999. For many years Mrs. Gleaton worked as a sales clerk at Western Auto in Comanche. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker and volunteered as a mentor in Comanche schools and was also a volunteer at the Food Pantry. Imogene was a member of First United Methodist Church in Comanche and Eastern Star. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Stan Rauhut of Houston; daughter and son-in-law; Judy and Gary Lacy of Comanche; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Jimmy Dobson of Midland; grandchildren, Medda Rauhut of Livingston, Bo Lacy and wife, Bridget of Abilene, Marie Butler of Houston, Lisa McCown and husband, Kirk of Waco, and Rhett Butler of Houston; great-grandson, Daniel Kirk McCown of Waco; and numerous extended loved ones. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Gleaton on August 24, 1961.
