Ira Wesley Redden, age 73, passed away Monday, March 20, 2023.
Wes was born August 24, 1949, in Corsicana, Texas to Travis and Jimmy Redden.
He spent most of his life in maintenance and A/C & Heating. His passion was singing. Wes sang for a Gospel Group for some time. He and his wife retired to their farm in 2014, where they raised longhorns. He loved hunting, fishing, and working the farm, but mainly loved his family.
Wes is survived by his wife, Kathy Vick Redden; brothers, John Redden and Greg Redden; sons and daughter, Nathan Redden, Cody Redden, Gaylen McDowell and April Pitts; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Travis and Jimmy Redden and one brother, Bill Redden.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to your favorite charity.
