Jackie Lee Bessent, age 71, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Comanche County Medical Center, Comanche County, Texas. He was born on March 28, 1939, in San Saba, Texas, to W. T. and Della (Skaggs) Bessent. Jackie worked as a mechanic for Clemons Motor Co. He was a Baptist. He is survived by brothers, Bill Bessent of Sidney, Allen Bessent and wife, Jo, of Sidney, and Prentice Bessent and wife, Glenda, of San Angelo; sisters, Louise Rogers of Sherman, Mary Harmon of Lampasas, and Peggy Barnes of Comanche; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. T. & Della Bessent; sister, Joyce Garner; and Brother, Carl Bessent
