James Gilbert, age 73, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020, in Comanche County, Texas.
He was born on April 12, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Charles and Margaret Eloise (Meyer) Gilbert. On July 2, 1965, he was united in marriage to Revon Marie Walls in Hamilton County, Ohio. He was a loving husband, dad, granddad and great-granddad. For many years James was employed by Ford Motor Company as a machinist.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Revon Gilbert of Comanche County; daughter, Carrie Greene and husband Ben of Blum; sons, James Gilbert, Jr. and wife Jeanie of Ohio and Richard Gilbert of Ohio; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margaret Gilbert.
