GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 20, at Board Church Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. LUNCH: Family will have lunch at Board Church following the funeral service. James Harold Northcutt, 89, of Comanche, Texas passed away on Monday, May 17, 2010. He was born on October 4, 1920 in Comanche to the late Willie E. and Cynthia (Bennett) Northcutt. After graduating from Gustine High School, he was a farmer and lived his entire life in Comanche County, except for his service in the United States Air Force during World War II. “Harold” married Ofadell Corine McNutt and they had one son, James Dale Northcutt. He is survived by his son, James (Jimmy) Northcutt and wife, Peggy, of Comanche; grandson Darrin Northcutt and his wife, Stephanie, of Round Rock; two great-grandsons, Nathan Kidwell of Abilene and Brandon Kidwell of Round Rock; two great-granddaughters, Kelsea and Kylar Northcutt of Round Rock; three great-great-grandchildren, DeLayne, Nathan, and Laura Kidwell; two special family friends, Tisha Draper and Sommerly; one brother, Weldon Northcutt and wife, Martha Nell, of Stephenville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ofadell; parents, Willie and Cynthia Northcutt; granddaughter, Laura Northcutt Childress; and brother, Rector Northcutt.
