VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Jan McCartney, age 62, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013, at Valley View Health Care Center in Eastland, Texas. She was born on January 28, 1951, in Brady, Texas, to L. V. and Charlotte E. (Johnson) McCartney. Jan is survived by two brothers, Allen McCartney and wife Wanda of Comanche, and Travis Wooten and wife Jennifer of Abilene; sister, Karen Liker of Brownwood; step-mother, Nona Land of Weatherford; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, L. V. and Charlotte McCartney.
