FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: DeLeon Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Jane (Easley) Nowlin passed away January 18, 2020, in Stephenville, Texas. She was born in Comanche County on September 23, 1932, to Edgar Earl Easley and Vera (White). On June 26, 1954, she was united in marriage to Elmer Dale Nowlin. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2014. She was an executive secretary for 43 years at Higginbotham Brothers. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a member of First Baptist Church of Comanche, Texas. Jane volunteered at the Comanche Hospital and the Comanche County Medical Center and worked at Comanche Funeral Home for 6 years as a receptionist. She was devoted to her family and friends. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and aunt that will be missed by many. She is survived by her son, Dennis Nowlin of Ft. Worth; special friends, Ron and Judy Moe of Comanche; brother, Edmer Easley of Ponca City, OK; a sister, Martha and husband John Beaty of DeLeon; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Easley of Patterson, LA and Martha Easley of New Orleans, LA; two brothers-in-law, Dean Nowlin of DeLeon and Delbert Ratliff of Stephenville; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Vera (White) Easley; two brothers, Jack Easley and Ray Easley; and three sisters, Florene Watson, Willa Rogan, and Jo Katherine Ratliff.
