Jean Yvonne Purcella, age 76, passed away on Sunday October 11, 2015, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on February 12, 1939, in Santa Anna, Texas, to Leroy Travis and Etta Sue (Dunn) Carpenter. On January 24, 2005, she was united in marriage to Lawson Purcella in Comanche. Yvonne was a hard worker, employed by Ameripride Linen in Amarillo and later as a cashier for Walmart and then Brookshires. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Comanche. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Lawson Purcella of Comanche; step-son, Roger Wesley Purcella and wife Melinda of Brownwood; sisters, Karen Sue Horn and husband Don of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Barbara Ann Wilbourn and husband Merle of Clyde; nephew, Wendell Wilbourn and wife Carol of Hamilton; nieces, Heather Witt and husband Richard of Chickasha, and Kristi Harris and husband Justin also of Chickasha; nephew, Nicholas Solis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Sue Carpenter.
