Jerry Lee “Paw Paw” Cook, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013, in Comanche County, Texas. He was born on September 20, 1938, in Sipe Springs, Texas, to Johnnie L. and Annie (Dulin) Cook. On May 24, 1958, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Moore in Rising Star. For thirty-five years Jerry worked as a Line Technician for Northland Cable TV in Brownwood and for many years he was a also a foster parent. He was a member of Sidney Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cook of Comanche; daughters, Debra Kitchens and husband Joel of Stephenville, Sherry Randle and husband Robert of Granite Shoals, and Donna Goodgion and husband Roy of Comanche; son, Karl Murphy and wife Debbie of New Jersey; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ann Underwood of Rising Star, and Susie Fields and husband Bobby of Comanche; brother, J.C. Cook and wife Katie of Comanche; sister-in-law, Martha Coats of Rising Star; and numerous nieces and nephews.
