Jerry Melvin Creek, age 61, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020, in Comanche, Texas.
He was born on March 15, 1958, in San Antonio, Texas, to Nolan and Dorothy (Snow) Creek. On March 13, 1980, he was united in marriage to Lisa Swanlaw in Amarillo, Texas. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. For many years he drove a dairy truck for W.D.T. in Stephenville. He loved fishing, camping, and riding motor cycles. Jerry was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Creek of Comanche; son, Jeremy Creek and wife Jennifer of Killeen; son, Joey Creek and wife Melinda of Colorado City; grandchildren: Logan, Morgan, Zachary, and Ethan; father, Nolan Creek of Comanche; brother, Donald Creek and wife Patti of Comanche; sister, Pat Elliott of Goldthwaite; brother, Tom Creek and wife Marsha of Gatesville; sister, Sandra Avalos and husband Henry of Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Creek and sister, Norma Jean Hale.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
