VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Jerry Charlene Dodd Goforth Young was born on June 14, 1929, in Houston, Texas, to Louis Cubella Dodd and Gladys Eva (Ellington) Dodd. Charlene was united in marriage to Irvin L. Young in Dallas. He preceded her in death on March 3, 1994. She was a Communications Technician employed by Southwestern Bell in Dallas until she retired after twenty years of service. She was a member of Assembly Of God Church in De Leon. She is survived by daughter, Rose Anne Graves of Gorman; son and daughter-in-law, Danny Paul and Kim Goforth of Palmer; six grandchildren, Kimberly, Gerald, Amber, Kristi, Shannon, and Andy; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Danny Ray Dodd of Comanche, Keith Dodd of Comanche, and Kenneth Dodd of Comanche; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Dodd and Roland Dodd; and one sister, Dorothy Smith
