Jesse Evans

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10:30 A.M. on Friday, July 19, 2013, at Downing Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION: 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday night at the funeral home. Jesse Ray Evans, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, in North Richland Hills, Texas. He was born in Comanche County, Texas, on the 10th day of the 10th month of the year 1936, the 10th child of Clayte and Mamie (Taylor) Evans. Jesse was a well known cook in Comanche. He was a Baptist. He is survived by sister, Mary Gilliam and husband Doug of Comanche; brother, Bobby Evans of Longview; and many, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
