He was united in marriage to Sue Hicks on November 24, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Young was self-employed in remodeling and construction until he retired and moved to Comanche. He then engaged in hay farming. Jessie Charles Young is survived by his wife, Sue Young, Comanche, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Gregg Tidmore, Lubbock, Texas; daughter, Jo Amadon, Houston, Texas; grandson, Mark Marshall, Dublin, Texas; granddaughter, Kendra Amadon, Dublin, Texas; brother, Kenneth Young, Paducah, Texas; sister, Betty Wyant, Colorado; and sister, Kathy Hanks, Vernon, Texas.
