Jesus “Chuy” Huerta, age 23, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020, in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was born on May 16, 1997, in Brownwood, Texas, to Jesus L. and Enedelia (Romero) Huerta. Jesus was close to all of his family and was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. For several years he attended college while working to help pay his tuition and he was admired by his family and friends for his strong work ethic. He was never happier than being in the outdoors. Jesus managed a bar in Benbrook.
He is survived by his parents, Jesus L and Enedelia Huerta of Comanche; fiancé, Angela Flores of Benbrook; sister, Valeria Huerta of Irving; grandfathers, Ignacio Romero and Jesus Huerta; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Juana Romero and Rosario Huerta.
