FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 A.M. Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Comanche Funeral Home chapel. BURIAL: Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at 106 Lockwood Street, Comanche, following the funeral services. Jesus “Jesse” Sabedra, age 76, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013, in Temple, Texas. He was born on September 11, 1936, in Seguin, Texas, to Pedro and Paula (Liendo) Sabedra. In 1953, he was united in marriage to Emeteria Alvarez in Seguin. Jesus was a Ranch Hand. He is survived by his wife, Emeteria Sabedra; two sons, Jesse Sabedra, Jr. and wife Martha, and Pete Sabedra and wife Maria; three daughters, Virginia Vandervila and husband Lydio, Rosa Garcia and husband Arthur, and Sylvia De Leon and husband Armando; twenty-eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Rena Sabedra. He was preceded in death by one son, Augustine Sabedra, and one granddaughter, Mary Ellen Gutierrez.
