GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 13, 2012 BURIAL: Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche Joan Williams McCormick, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on March 30, 1932, in Comanche, Texas, to Earl and Mary Elizabeth (Ward) Williams. On March 10, 1972, she was united in marriage to Billy Gene Donald McCormick in Durant, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 25, 2011. For ten years Mrs. McCormick worked as a cashier at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth. She was a homemaker. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Susie Briggs of Forth Worth; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Louis Gambill of Fort Worth; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Christy and Aaron Lemons of Glen Rose; great-granddaughter, Lilly Dawn Lemons of Glen Rose; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
