FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. LUNCH: Family will have lunch at Sidney Church of Christ following the funeral services. JoAnn Edwards, age 71, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014, at her residence in Comanche, Texas. She was born at home in Pittsburgh County, Oklahoma, to Robert and Theo (Zachary) Mullins. On April 7, 1967, she was united in marriage to Steve Edwards in Childress, Texas. For many years JoAnn owned and operated an upholstery shop. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Sidney Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Steve Edwards of Comanche; three children: Lou Ann Pond and husband Steve of Deer Park, Paula Dobbins and husband Richard of Amarillo, and Robert Edwards of Comanche; four grandchildren: Derek Woodall, and Brandon Houston of Deer Park, and Amanda Dobbins and Kalem Dobbins of Amarillo; one great-grandson, Weston Woodall; three brothers, Robert Mullins, Donald Mullins, and Lynn Mullins, all of Midland; one sister, Linda Hopper of Stanton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one nephew.
