Mr. Brown was a lab technician for a refinery in Big Spring, Texas. He is survived by a son, Kent Brown, Big Spring, Texas; son, John Ed Brown,Jr.; grandson, Michael Kent Brown; granddaughter, Emma Lyn Brown; great-granddaughter, Kristen Nichole Long; great-great-granddaughter, Summer Shae Long; brother, Milton Brown, Graham, Texas; brother, Norman Brown, Oklahoma; and sister, Ruth Marie Wren, El Paso, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dalphna Jean Hicks on June 9, 1993 and by his sister, Emily Ward.
