John Butler

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. John Valton Butler, Jr., age 78, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012, in North Richland Hills, Texas. He was born on November 27, 1933, in Gorman, Texas to John V. Butler, Sr. and Elmer V. (Reese) Butler. On October 7, 1959, he was united in marriage to Elsie Barnes in Comanche, Texas. For forty-five years John worked as an automobiles mechanic. He was employed by Palmer’s Brake and Alignment in Fort Worth. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Butler of Fort Worth; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Donna Butler of Saginaw; son and daughter-in-law David and Vicki Butler of Saginaw; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Cecil Butler.
