FUNERAL SERVICE: 10 A.M. on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at Littleville Baptist Church in Hamilton. BURIAL: Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton. John Howard Kelly, age 94, died Saturday November 12, 2011 in the Hamilton Hospital. John was born March 4, 1917 in Hamilton to Adam Howard and Harriet Annie Williams Kelly. On November 4, 1942 he married Necie Fae McFarlin in Hamilton. She preceded him in death on August 30, 2011. John graduated from Coyne Electrical School in Chicago, Ill. He was a retired radio - TV repairman. He served in the US Army during WWII. He was in active combat in the Naples - Foggia, Rome -Arno, Southern France, Rhineland and Central Europe areas as a combat infrantryman and communication tech sgt. with the 143rd regiment, 36th Division. John has resided in Hamilton his entire life, where he was member of the Littleville Baptist Church. John is survived by three sons: John Paul Kelly and wife Becky of Belle Vista, Ark, William Ray Kelly and wife Linda of Hamilton, Jimmy Don Kelly and wife Charissa of Clifton, two sisters: Mary Jane Gardner and Ethel Lois Kirkland , both of Hamilton, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers, Thomas Nathaniel, Neil Bernard, Charles and Joe Kelly; one sister, Annie Ruth Kelly; one infant brother, 2 infant sisters, and one grandson: James Aaron Kelly.
