Johnny Dickey

Johnny “John” Cecil Dickey, age 68, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2010 at Comanche County Medical Center in Comanche, Texas. On June 5, 1964 he was united in marriage to Brenda Ross in Dublin, Texas. He was a transport driver for Central Texas Energy for 46 years and a member of the Congregational Methodist Church in Comanche, Texas. He also served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Dickey, Comanche, Texas; brother, Jerry Dickey, Comanche, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bobby Phillips, Waco, Texas; brother, Bobby Dickey, De Leon, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mary Dickey and one infant brother, Tommy Dickey. Family visitation will be from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. on Tuesday at Comanche Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Steele officiating,. Burial will follow in Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery at 12 Noon.
