Josie Lou Janes Reese, age 88, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on November 3, 1924, in Comanche, Texas to Carl Wallace and Golda (Nance) Janes. On June 8, 1949, she was united in marriage to Jack Reese in Comanche. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1987. Over the years Josie worked at All Saints Hospital, was a PBX operator at General Dynamics and worked for Foster Mortgage Company. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her niece, Dianne Elder Niemann of Port Aransas, Texas; nephew, Homer John Elder of Fredericksburg, Maryland; great-niece, Mickey Hooper of Fort Worth; great-nephew, Bob Elder of Maryland; great nephew, P. J. Shackelford of Port Aransas; great-niece, Stacie Reusing of Pennsylvania; and multiple great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Geneva Janes Elder.
