VISITATION:  Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 09, 2019, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.   Jovita Martinez, age 84, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on February 15, 1935, in Grand Prairie, Texas, to Martin and Genoveva (Gomez) Martinez.  She was a nurse’s aide at Western Hills HealthCare. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Covarrubias and Judy Rodriguez of Comanche; two sons, Rudy Hernandez and wife Adella of Abilene and Jesse Hernandez and wife Cindy of Sherman; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Freddie Hernandez; sister, Natividad Martinez; and parents, Martin and Genoveva (Gomez) Martinez.
