Joyce Collins, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on March 27, 1925, in Ralls, Texas, to Wallace Percy and Bertie (Cloyd) Davison. On May 18, 1940, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Garland Collins in Proctor. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2004. Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a devout Christian and was a member of Gartman’s View Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Roland Collins and wife Mary of Comanche; daughters, Sue Rainey and husband Jim of Comanche and Linda Golden and husband Billy Jack of Comanche; grandchildren: Junior Collins and wife Jeannie of Hillrose, Colorado, Brenda Kay Scott and husband Labin of Glennallen, Alaska, Sherri Lynn Wilcox of Tolar, Melisa Rainey of Comanche, Michael Rainey and wife Joylyn of Stephenville, Misti Till and husband Chris of Comanche, Myra Benedict and husband Chance of Comanche, Christi Hall and Greg Gilder of De Leon, Jamie Goins and husband Isaac of Houston, and Dianna Arndt and husband Stephen of Clyde; twenty great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her brother, Wallace Davison and parents, Wallace Percy and Bertie Davison.
