GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Cottonwood Flat Cemetery in Scurry County, near Rotan. VISITATION: Family will visit with friends at graveside before the service. Box 15186, Austin, Texas 78761. Judy Hardin, age 84, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013, in Comanche County, Texas. She was born on Sunday, December 16, 1928, in Padgett, Young County, Texas, to W. L. and Ruth (Scott) Bowen. On April 26, 1946, she was united in marriage to Cecil Wesley Hardin in Rotan, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 27, 1997. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a homemaker. She is survived by four daughters: Lyndia Janosky of Bellville, Sandy Hancock and husband Mike of Stephenville, Sissy Mikeska and husband Bruce of Hockley, and Tooter Koenig of Comanche; ten grandchildren: Denny Janosky, Deanna Warmke, Scott Johnson, Shana Anderson, Jodi Hancock, Chelle Coleman, Brett Mikeska, Heather Novicke, Kipp Koenig, and Courtney Craig; nineteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.L. and Ruth (Scott) Bowen; one sister, Mary Finch; three brothers: Vancil Bowen, Buddy Bowen and Donnie Bowen; and two sons-in-law: Dennis Janosky and Bill Koenig.
