June King, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on November 30, 1930, in Hamlin, Texas, to Olan and Helen (Proffitt) Vaughan. On August 5, 1949, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Gail King in Abilene. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2004. June had many friends and was an avid Bridge player. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her brother, Jerry Vaughan of Fort Worth; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry King Eloe.
