Kenneth Ray Wright was born September 26, 1968, to Patsy and Norman Wright in Odessa, Texas.
Growing up he was highly involved in FFA, farming, and hunting. Ken was loved by many and admired by more. In December of 1996 he became a father for the first time, then again in August of 2002. He never missed a practice or a game for either of his kids growing up.
Ken was the type of person who would help anybody that needed it, and even if they didn’t. When you would sit down and talk to him, you would walk away gaining more knowledge than you started with as he was extremely intelligent. He wasn’t very outspoken and that’s what everybody loved about him. He never complained, and would never pass judgement. He was truly a light in this world, to know him was to love him.
He was united in marriage in January of 2018 to Jerri Vaughn.
His favorite things to do were farm and ranch, hunt, fish, and cook. He was always grilling something, or setting up a good fish fry. He took great pleasure in his show pigs and guiding the kids while teaching them independence. The mark he left on this earth will be remembered by everybody.
He is survived by his wife, Jerri Wright; daughter, Natalie Wright; son, Nathan Wright; stepdaughters, Ashely Grounds and husband, Erik, and Chandler Vaughn and fiancé, Dante Stillo; grandsons, Cooper, Boston, Hudson; granddaughters, Anderson and Preston; uncle, Harold Salter; cousin, Donald Salter; aunt, Mary Doan; and numerous other cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Patsy Wright; grandparents, Don and Mary Nell Salter and Elbert “Skee Bo” and Herman Mae Wright.
