Kimberly Kay Hennigan, 61, passed away on January 18, 2024 after a courageous battle with Huntington's disease. She was born July 19, 1962 in Warner Robbins, Georgia. On December 3, 1983 she was united in marriage to Stephen Lawrence Hennigan in Comanche, TX.
Kim was a homemaker and later a teller for many years at Comanche National Bank. She enjoyed country music, roller coasters, camping trips with her family, and cheering on the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Hennigan of Comanche TX; two children, Megan Howard of Comanche, TX and Tyler Hennigan of Comanche, TX; two stepchildren, Shanna Hennigan of Houston, TX and Shaylor Hennigan of Sherman, TX; mother, Helen Stallings of Comanche TX, sister, Debra Riley and husband Kevin of San Angelo, TX; three grandchildren, Kenzie Cook, Harleigh Kent and Shaylie Hennigan; niece Sarah Cullers and husband Will of Comanche, TX; and many cousins whom she grew up close to.
She is preceded in death by her father, Stanley Sowle.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 from 1-2:00 p.m. at Comanche Funeral Home with the service to follow. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
