FUNERAL SERVICES:  11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel BURIAL:  Union Cemetery VISITATION:  Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Friday, March 30, 2018, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. LUNCH:  Lunch for the family will be at St. John Lutheran Church in Hamilton following the funeral services.
Larry Dwayne Eilers, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, in Hamilton, Texas. He was born on October 2, 1951, in San Saba, Texas, to Henry and Malinda (Nauert) Eilers. Larry grew up and was confirmed in Zion Lutheran Church in Priddy.  He graduated from Mullin High School and on  June 29, 1973, he was united in marriage to Neva Sue Like in Gustine.  She preceded him in death on April 10 2001. He was a faithful and loving husband, father and grandfather. Larry was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, farming and especially working on his tractor.     He was a mechanic employed by Tex Star Ford in Stephenville until he retired in 2015 after  twenty-nine years of service. He is survived by his daughter, Amie Eilers of Comanche; three grandchildren: Lainey, Hunter and Nakota; two brothers, Herman Eilers and wife Mary of Burleson, and Raymond Eilers and wife Joyce of Goldthwaite; two sisters, Betty Rhodes and husband John of Peachtree Corners, Georgia, and Nelda and Chuck Davis of Pottsboro; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Malinda Eilers; three brothers: Gilbert “Shorty” Eilers, Charles Eilers, and Olen Eilers; and one sister, Shirley (Trimble) Killebrew.
