FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Millersview Cemetery in Eden, Texas, at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Tuesday before the funeral service. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday at East Side Baptist Church. Laura was born January 10, 1920 in Concho County to George Washington and Nova (Fraim) Woods. On April 29, 1939, she was united in marriage to Godfrey Stuart. He preceded her in death on December 2, 1994. Laura and Godfrey were long time residents of Richland Springs, Texas and later Comanche, Texas. Laura, at the time of her death, was a resident of Even Tide Nursing Home in San Saba, Texas. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Comanche, Texas, and she was a homemaker. She loved spending time in her beautiful flower garden, sewing and quilting. Many of her family members are still enjoying those beautiful quilts. She loved and cared for her family and friends. She will be remembered for many kind deeds. Survivors include daughter, Patsy Isham and son-in-law, Worth Isham, of San Saba, Texas; son, Ray Stuart and daughter-in-law, Karen Stuart of Lubbock, Texas; daughter, Peggy Stewart and son-in-law, Joe Stewart, of Johnson City, Texas; and daughter, Delinda Sorrells and son-in-law, Kinley Sorrells, of Comanche, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
