LaVerna Marie Morgan, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, in Comanche County, Texas. She was born on August 22, 1943, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Ivan R. and Frances (Darling) Fry. On June 28, 1966, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Dale Morgan in Comanche, Texas. Together they traveled to Goose Bay Newfoundland, Tripoli North Africa, and Iraklion Air Station in Crete Greece, while Lloyd served in the United States Air Force. LaVerna was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. For many years she was employed as an electronics inspector. LaVerna She worked for Texas Instruments and later for Datapoint and Xytronics. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Comanche. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Dale Morgan; son, Brett; daughter, Dale; and two grandsons, Glenn and Samuel; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Frances Fry; and brother, Tommy Fry.
