Lavon Stark

Jeanie Lavon Stark, 87, passed away on January 24, 2024, in Hamilton, Texas. She was born July 31, 1936, in Gustine, Texas to Coy Stuteville & Cleo Cook Stuteville. On December 31, 1954, she was united in marriage to Mack Stark in Gustine, Texas.

Lavon was a proud and active member of the Gustine Church of Christ for most of her life. In her life she owned the Mack and Von Grocery Store and spent many days working with her husband as a peanut farmer and worked many years at the ASCS office. She later in life became a housewife who loved to talk about subbing at the Gustine School.

She is survived by her son, Adam Stark & wife Delinda Stark; son, Keith Stark; sister, Gay Stuteville; grandchildren, Tausha Stark, Anisha Philips and husband Kevin Philips, Noah Stark; step grandchildren, Christy Escobar and husband Fernando Escobar; great grandchildren, Logan Garcia, Koalbee Stark, Keydone Stark, Tate Stark, Kel Philips, Preston Escobar, and Hope Escobar; and son-in-law, BR Sears.

She is preceeded in death by husband, Mack Stark; Parents, Coy Stuteville & Cleo (Cook) Stuteville; daughter, Janese Sears; and grandchild, Coy Sears.
