Les Ruggles, age 73, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021, in Comanche, Texas.
He was born on December 14, 1947, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Weslie Corvin and Bessie (Howell) Ruggles. He was a United States Army veteran and was awarded a Purple Heart while serving in Vietnam. Les was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a truck driver for most of his working life. He was the Evangelist for Yield in Faith Ministry.
He is survived by his children, Tina Ruggles, Raymond Ruggles, Christopher Ruggles and wife Cindy, Anthony Ruggles, Michele Ruggles and husband John, Daniel Ruggles and wife Jackie, Leslie Ruggles, Jr., Jason Ruggles, James Ruggles, Jeremiah Ruggles, and Gracie Ruggles; seventeen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Danny Ruggles and Ricky Ruggles; and sisters, Carolyn Goree, Anna Ruggles, and Brenda Ruggles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Weslie and Bessie Ruggles; brothers, Larry Ruggles, Donny Ruggles, Jimmy Ruggles, Billy Ruggles, and Roger Ruggles; and sister, Angela Ruggles.
