FUNERAL SERVICES: Graveside 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 6, 2013. BURIAL: White Point Cemetery in Comanche County. Lila Lee Harkins, age 88, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on April 17, 1925, in Comanche Texas, to Luther Harkins and Alma (Knight) Harkins. She worked at Comanche County Abstract for forty years as an abstract clerk. She was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Comanche. Lila enjoyed playing piano and was an accomplished pianist. She is survived by cousins, Pauline Ripley of Comanche, Frances Ripley of Comanche, Jan Murphree of Comanche, Don Rogers of Comanche, Linda Feist of Comanche, Betty Whitley of Brownwood, Voncile Warren of Midland, Byrlene Moore of San Angelo, Pat Hayes of the metroplex, and Marjorie McCullough of Odessa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alma (Knight) Harkins and Luther Harkins.
