GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Union Cemetery in Comanche County. Linda Steele Cooper, age 56, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, in Cleburne, Texas. She was born on September 9, 1958, in De Leon, Texas, to Clyde and Betty (Sutton) Steele. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her long time friend, Terry Gossett; mother, Betty Steele of Kingsland; brothers and sisters, Ronnie Steele and wife Lore Ann of Eula, Nancy Gray and husband William of Lake Buchanan, Tracy Steele and wife Patty of Kingsland, and Loretta Godfrey and husband Norman of Blanket; sister-in-law, Phyllis Steele of Flat; five nieces; two nephews; and her beloved pets, her dog Kujo and cat, Angel Eyes. She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Steele; brother, Richard Steele; and nephew, Ricky Steele .
