Linda Feist

Linda Gail Feist, 81 years of age, passed away October 29, 2022 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, surrounded by her children and siblings.

Linda was born on March 3, 1941, in Comanche Texas. Linda attended school in Comanche, graduating in 1959 from Comanche High School. Shortly after graduation, she married Jackie Feist and to their union of love, they had 2 children, Rickye and Janna. Linda had her first career as a beautician and worked from her shop in Priddy, Texas for several years. She left that career to attend LVN school and later graduated from Tarleton with an Associates Degree in Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She worked in many different areas of nursing, but primarily in long-term care....retiring at 77 years of age.

Upon retirement, she enjoyed sewing, reading, quilting, working in the yard, however, her greatest enjoyment was watching her grandson Cade play in all his various sports, especially basketball! She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Priddy, Texas.

Linda is survived by her son, Rickye Feist and wife Katrina of Bluffdale, Texas: one daughter, Janna Whitehead and husband Wade of Stephenville, Texas: two sisters, Jan Murphree of Comanche and Betty Whitley of Brownwood, Texas: one brother, Don Rogers of Comanche: three grandchildren, Cade Whitehead, Trea Feist, and Heather Pfohl. She was preceded in death by her parents Hollis and Gladys Rogers and her late husband Jackie Feist.

Pallbearers are Cade Whitehead, Wade Whitehead, Trea Feist, Eric Whitley, Jake Murphree, and John Murphree.

Linda will be missed beyond measure by the many who knew and loved her.
