FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 A.M. Saturday, June, 11, 2011, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Pendergrass Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. LUNCH: Sidney Baptist Church following the funeral services. MEMORIALS: Home Hospice in Big Spring or a charity of choice. Lloyd Dale Reed, age 77, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2011, in Colorado City, Texas. He was born on March 19, 1934, in Comanche, Texas to Jesse and Ruby Mae (Lloyd) Reed. He served in the United States Army as a Specialist 5. On August 3, 1973, Lloyd was united in marriage to Katherine Mae Ward in Sidney, Texas. He was a mechanic and owned and operated Lloyd Reed Auto, and he was also a farmer. He was a member of Sidney Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Reed of Sidney; son, Stanley Dale Reed of Pittsburg, Kansas; daughter, Sharon Asher and husband Johnny of Moore, Oklahoma; five step-children; ten step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Delbert Reed and wife Pat of Bryan, and Max Reed and wife Robbie of Comanche; and sister, Rita Trosper and husband Ray of Sidney.
