Lois Harvick

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016, at Union Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Thursday September 1, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Lois Ripley Harvick, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on February 3, 1928, in Comanche County, Texas, to Lester and Lola Mae (Fortson) Ripley. On February 3, 1946, she was united in marriage to Eugene Willie Harvick in De Leon, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2003. Lois was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Harvick and wife Vicki of Comanche and Ronnie Harvick of Gustine; two daughters, Dyanna Thedford and husband Mack of Gustine and Cristi Escobar and husband Juan of Comanche; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Clyda Ripley of Moore, Oklahoma, and Dortha Ripley of Gustine.
