GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Friday. July 15, 2011, at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Friday morning from 9:00 A.M.until to leave for the cemetery. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at East Side Baptist Church following the funeral service. MEMORIALS: If desired, memorials may be made to Alpha-Omega Hospice, P. O. Box 162041, Fort Worth, Texas 76161. Lona Faye Bingham, age 83, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on March 25, 1928, in Breckenridge, Texas, to Jasper and Martha (Mosley) Guill. On October 23, 1948, she was united in marriage to Weldon Bingham. Lona was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a certified Nurses Aide working in numerous nursing homes in Comanche, Brownwood, Stephenville, Dublin, and De Leon, and for four years she owned and operated Lona Bingham’s Daycare Center in Comanche. She was a member of Full Gospel Non-Denominational Church in Comanche. She is survived by her husband, Weldon Bingham of Comanche; sons, David Bingham and Grenda Lunsford of Abilene, William Bingham of Comanche, Donnie Bingham and Judy Welch of Comanche, and Danny Bingham and wife Linda of Comanche; daughter, Mary Lee and husband Louis of Comanche; thirteen Grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sister, Ollie Burks of Brownwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Martha Guill; five brothers and one sister.
