FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 21, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Comanche. VISITATION: 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday evening at the funeral home. Houston, Comanche, Texas 76442 Lonnie McDougal, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, in Comanche County, Texas. He was born on December 31, 1934, in McCamey, Texas, to Earnest and Jewel (Dempsey) McDougal. On May 23, 1954, he was united in marriage to Merla Zoe Kee in Comanche County. She preceded him in death on November 2, 2005. For over fifty years Lonnie and his family owned and operated McDougal Livestock Auction in Comanche. He was also a self employed rancher. He was a member, and also served as a deacon, of the First Baptist Church of Comanche and a prior president of Livestock Marketing Association of Texas. He was a former officer of the Comanche Roping Club and served as Grand Marshall of this year’s parade. He is survived by his son Bart McDougal of Stephenville; son and daughter-in-law, Bret and Dianne McDougal of Lewisville; grandchildren, Stacy McDougal, Matthew McDougal, Greg McCue, Heather Bazil, Richard McCue, Brandon Lee, and Brian Lee; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Charlotte McDougal of De Leon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, E.J. McDougal.
